Preparation is Key

1. Research the company:  

Understand the company's mission, values, and products.

2. Review the job description:  

Study the job requirements and be prepared to give examples of how
your skills and experiences match.

3. Prepare your resume and references:  

Make sure your resume and references are updated and
tailored to the job.

 

Common Interview Questions

1. Tell me about yourself:  

Keep this brief and focused on your professional experience and skills.

2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?:  

Be honest about your weaknesses, but also talk about
what you're doing to improve them.

3. Why do you want to work for this company?:  

Show that you've done your research and explain
how your skills and values align with the company.

 

Interview Techniques

1. The STAR method:  

Use this method to answer behavioral interview questions by describing a
Situation, Task, Action, and Result.

2. Active listening:  

Pay attention to what the interviewer is saying and show that you're engaged in
the conversation.

3. Body language:  

Make eye contact, sit up straight, and use open and confident body language

 

Types of Interviews

1. In-person interviews:  

Make a good impression by dressing professionally and being on time.

2. Phone or video interviews: 

Use a headset or earbuds to ensure good audio quality and minimize
distractions.

3. Panel interviews:  

Be prepared to answer questions from multiple people and use the STAR
method to answer behavioral questions.

 

After the Interview

1. Send a thank-you note: 

Write a thank-you note or email to show appreciation for the interviewer's
time.

2. Follow up: 

If you haven't heard back within a week or two, follow up with a phone call or email to
inquire about the status of your application.
